The back is totally pieced in leftovers. The only Non Riley Blake fabrics were the Kona white and orange, and a piece of Just Wing It.
Here's a close-up of the center square. I love the cocoa and the mittens!
And here's a close up of the quilting around the 9 patch blocks.
Another quilt down! I had set myself a goal of one quilt per month and so far I am on target!
I also finished recovering all the chairs in my dining room. Amy Butler everywhere! And my MIL came up with a way that I may be able to salvage the curtains I have and just add some of this fabric to them to tie it all together. Suh-weet! Still got to get a new rug, but that's okay!
I'm making a run to one of the LQS's in Atlanta today to pick up a little more fabric I need for my quiltalong. Luckily they recently had a groupon for them where you get $40 of fabric for $20. Woohoo! Now I just need to come up with $40 worth of fabric to purchase. Somehow I don't think it will be that too difficult...
Stay tuned tomorrow for an update on the quiltalong!
I'm loving the chairs. They look so much brighter and cheerier.

ReplyDeleteLOVE that quilt! And the back is just as nice as the front!
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt - hope you had fun at Intown!
ReplyDeleteLove the chairs, they look great.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is really lovely, and I love the pieced back too.
It's beautiful! Just like I knew it would be. Sadly, 40 bucks may as well be 4 dollars when it comes to buying material. It goes so quickly. :) Have fun shopping.
