Yeah, when you get in a hurry, things don't always come out the way you think they should. Like this, for instance...
This was my first attempt at a block for Michele's Quilt You Be Mine Mystery Round Robin. I had fun with the Regular Mystery Round Robin so I decided to try this one, even though hubby and I don't celebrate Valentine's Day. Yes, I know I screwed it up. But while I was fixing it, I decided I didn't want the pink at all and would go for a GA Bulldogs theme for colors.
So here is the changed one. I used Elizabeth's fab tutorial for it
here.
I also got my latest Carpenter Wheel sewn together...
cut out the fabric for the next two Wheels...
and started playing with a layout for my gray, yellow and aqua Granny Squares.
Pretty sure I'm going on point with them. I also did some work on Halloween costumes. I hope to get those done ASAP!
Hope you had a productive week!

Been there, done that. Good save!
very pretty work!
Just popped in from Freshly Pieced's WIP Wednesday to have a 'nosey'! Glad I did - loving the first block with the pink but then I love pink :)
I like the newer version of your center blokc too and of course the carpenter wheel block is great. Can't wait to see that one all completed.
Oh! I love those granny squares! That color combo is just gorgeous!!
