** UPDATE: I have made a few changes on when things happen on the schedule. This should make things a little more efficient and should give more time for quilting and binding (where it's needed!) I also realized I had not built in any time to do that before the Prize drawing! I hope this works out a bit better for everyone!

Welcome to the home page for the Diamond Chains Quilt Along. This page includes all the links for any related tutorials and the quilt along itself. All published posts will be linked up, and approximate dates for future posts are provided {should any changes occur, these will be noted in the links}. A Flickr pool is also provided for participants to display their progress. 
The latest news is that this block is Accuquilt Go! friendly (Thank you, Kathy, for letting me know)! You can refer to this site where you can download 5 free Accuquilt friendly blocks. It is referred to as Mosaic, no. 5 and instructions are for a half square triangle version of the block. Instructions are provided for which die cuts to use; you will only have to modify placement of a few HSTs.

Week 4: Design Layout (9/6)
Week 5: Piecing a back and Machine Quilting (9/13)
Week 6: Change of plans! Giving you this week extra to work on your machine quilting (9/20)
Week 7: Binding and Catch up Time! (9/27)
Week 8: Showing off! Quilts should be in the Flickr pool by this date (Barring any unforeseen circumstances, quilts will be due in Flickr by 10/11 and drawing will be held the morning of 10/12!) Okay so the unforeseen circumstances are that the few people participating in the quilt along are not done so I'm extending the giveaway another week to 10/18. Please have your quilts posted by then and I will send out goodies when they have been posted!
