Oldest Designer for Robert Kaufman!!!

I thought this article was so cool. NEVER think it's too late to do something with a talent!!!
Lorene Carnes, 92, was going to art school 70 years ago but quit to go work in the shipping yards during World War II. Her portfolio sat in the garage until just last year, when a family friend who works at Robert Kaufman Designs in L.A. saw it during a visit. She took the designs back with her, where the designs were made into fabric that can be found in stores starting in June. The collection is called "Glamour Girls."

Salem woman achieves dream of working in fashion 72 years later

That is such a cool story. I'll have to keep my eye out for some of that fabric. Thanks!
