I finally made myself get out the owl blanket and get it done. It didn't take a really long time to do once I started but sitting awkwardly on the floor reminded me of muscles I do not use! Ow!
My sons and I made lots of tie blankets several years ago for gifts. I would lay them out on the dining room table and cut the edges on one side and one end, then tie them, then move it over and do the other side and end. MUCH easier on my back.

It looks cute!!! Sorry about those long lost muscles! Those ones always complain too much when they finally get used...
