Happy Birthday to Me!

Well, yesterday was actually my birthday but I didn't post so I thought I would catch up today. Had breakfast with some friends, my neighbor/birthday buddy (we share the same birthday) and I had Mexican for lunch, and hubby took me out for a nice dinner without the kids. Ugh! Was I sick of eating! Hubby got me tickets to see The Producers in Atlanta come January. Very cool! I did have to tease him and ask if I could take anybody I wanted!

We had another Madeline rehearsal this morning for costumes and makeup. I have to be aged because I'm supposed to be the cook but also a grandmother. Um, do they realize how young grandmothers can be nowadays?  I told them that wouldn't take near as long to do as I would like to think. If I hadn't just colored my hair I'd have a head start on the gray! Here are some of the sweet girls doing the play with me!

I am sewing! I've been in the basement sewing up HST's for my Carpenter's Wheel quilt like a madwoman! I want to finish it so I can put it on my bed for winter!
