Have You Seen This?

Okay, I was looking online for some type of little crafty thing to make for the Good Samaritan shoe boxes we do at our church. I have no idea how I came across this, but it is just so funny.

I know. It has absolutely nothing to do with what I was looking for, but it's SO going on my craft room wall! The Scientific Seamstress offers it as a printable you can frame and hang up in your sewing room. How cute!

I have been working on some sewing this week. Yesterday I finally finished block 8 for Embroidery 101 (she has already put the top together). I still have to do block 9 before putting it together. I did not choose to do the same block they provided for number 8. No offense; the flower just wasn't what I wanted so I chose this one instead.

I can't decide if I think it's done. There were some extra lines around the edges of the leaf as in the flowers, but I initially didn't put them in because I thought it might be too much. now I think it's not enough so I may go back and add them. What do you think?
