The Ever Elusive Finish...

My friend Mitzi and I were talking last night about having multiple projects going on at once. She made the comment that she usually doesn't do that because she never feels like she finishes anything. I know what she means. I have several things going on right now and most are ongoing projects like the Skill Builder Sampler, and the Embroidery 101 quilt. I decided that, as soon as I finish enough blocks for SBS, I will create a quilt for it before continuing. As far as Embroidery 101 goes, I have to wait until they're all done. I just finished block 3 yesterday and block 4 is supposed to come out tomorrow. Here's block 3.
I can't say I was crazy about that stem stitch. I FINALLY kind of got it right at the end but by then I didn't want to pull it back out. I'm okay with how it turned out.
I hope to whip up my Riley Blake Christmas quilt today. We'll see how far I can get.
Are you having any finishes?

I know what you mean! It's hard to be working and working and never have anything to show for it. Seemingly, anyway. BUT - that embroidery block looks fantastic!! I can't wait to see your Christmas quilt too!!

Haha...I took out so much Stem Stitch with the block I almost removed it all together. But, it's a nice stitch to know how to do...and yours looks great to me!
