I love a long weekend...especially when hubbie takes the day off for it! We're going to hit a wonderful arts and crafts festival we have here in the Newnan area called Powers Crossroads festival. Loads of vendors and exhibitors with various types of wares, food, and entertainment. Can't beat that!
I'm also excited to have gotten some more done on my ongoing projects. Yesterday I finished all my squares for my Diamond Chains quilt along and threw them on the floor on top of the solid fabric so I could get a feel for how it was coming along. It's not the greatest picture but...
We're getting there. We'll get this put together for design layout on Tuesday, and then on to quilting!
As far as voting goes, I submitted the jelly roll quilt I made for my mom to the weekly contest over at the Quilting Gallery so go check it out. I'd love it if you gave it a vote! Voting is today through Sunday and the winner will be announced Monday. Click here and then click "Vote now: Jelly Roll Quilts". Check out all the submissions. If you like it, my quilt is Seaside, and I thank you for considering voting for my quilt. Have a great weekend!
