WiP Wednesday!

Okay, to start this Wednesday post, I just had to throw in another Thing 2 story. He got in trouble yesterday, but at dinner he had me in a fit of giggles. I was cooking dinner and didn't realize the eye on my gas stove had not lit under my pan. I was talking to hubbie and said, "I knew I was starting to smell gas," to which Thing 2 commented, "Oh no, see that would be me." I just looked at hubbie and died laughing. Hubbie just looked at Thing 2 and said with a grin, "TMI, buddy!"
WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced
Linking up with Lee today so don't forget to go check out everyone's progress over there!

I have tried to work on some UFO's this week. I added a few blocks to my string quilt...

and I worked on taking out one strip I added as a border (but didn't like) to my Charm Pack quilt. I'm just going to remove that and add only the dark floral as a border. Then I'm going to quilt it and be done.
What's the matter? Don't all your UFO's look like a big pile of dish rags in a chair?

I got two secondary designs done for my red and white hexie quilt.

I'm working on two more.

I got block 6 done on Skill Builder.

and I'm finishing up block 4 on Embroidery 101.
I'm doing the bird in red and then it's done. Well, I've got to get that Ink B Gone stuff off, and iron it, but then it's done.

I also did a little work getting my Riley Blake Christmas quilt top done.
I'm almost there. I think it will look better when it's not up against a funky brown comforter.
Wow, for someone who didn't feel like they got much done, I've been pretty busy! How about you?

Everything looks great. You are going to have to teach me to embroider. You know that don't you?

You must be very patient with all those hexagons, but they're lovely. I also like the colors in your skill-builder block.
