The Mother Lode!

First off, I finished the latest block for Embroidery 101.

Next, last night was quilting guild night. We had a little birthday party for the guild, and we did a little show and tell so I got to show my Christmas quilt. There was also a lady there who was selling fat quarters and some larger pieces for our Quilto game (and for anybody who just wanted some). See, for every card you played, you brought in a fat quarter. Or you could purchase some from the vendor that came. There were about 35 or so people there playing. A couple of games in, I won. For the basic games you got a 3 pack of the fat quarters people brought in so this was my prize.

At the end of the games they held one big last blockout game where the winner won all the remaining fat quarters. Um, yeah, guess who won?

Thirty fat quarters! Well, I actually brought home 29. Mitzi was teasing me and saying I always win stuff so I gave one to her! I tried to give her more but she told me no, to use them to increase my stash.

I was excited that there were several I think we will work in the Bottled Rainbows quilt. And I was missing a lot on that one so that's a good thing!
